Devil May Cry ACT2: A Sacrifice
As Mundus was revived,he tried to break Sparda's Seal on the gate of the netherworld and suceeded,now demons and monsters alike run rampant in the human world.
Sparda knew that a final showdown was immenient,so before he made his way to bring the Demon Emperor down.He spoke to Eva and his sons
Sparda:" I am only gone for a while.You two boys take care of yourselves and your mother"
Vergil,Dante:" yes father."
Sparda" Eva..i promise.i'll be back"
Eva:*tears in her eyes " You...promise..?"
Sparda:" Yes..promise"
With that he left his teenage sons,his wife and picked up his sword before disappearing into the darkness of the woods.
As months go by,Sparda fought alongside the humans against the evil legion.Netting victory after victory.
As he made his way towards the evil shrine of Mundus for the final battle.He stood in front of Mundus and drew his sword
Sparda:" Mundus.i will stop you once AND FOR ALL!"
Mundus:" Isnt that the betrayer SPARDA!Well,it is different this time.I will not fall"
Sparda:" We'll see about that!"
With his lightning quick speed,he charged at Mundus.
The battle begins
After several rounds of battle with the evil Emperor, Sparda was left weary and got struck by Mundus's sword,he fell onto the ground.Just then,when Sparda was about to be finished off.Eva appeared and took the blow for him.
little did Sparda knew that his wife was secretly tailing him since he left.And now...Vergil and Dane stared at the scene with disbelief,as Eva was left dying,after Mundus struck her.Sparda ran to her now lifeless body.For the first time,he shed tears. As his sword,the Force Edge,made contact with Eva's blood..it was infused with an incredible power..Sparda was in a rage, he picked up his sword and before Mundus knew it,Sparda's sword pierced through him but his sword did the same to Sparda as well.
Sparda summoned all of his powers..and banished Mundus into the netherworld once again.But at the cost of his own life...as Vergil and Dante ran to his side after watching the battle from the shrine entrance..Sparda said his last words to them,And his body glowed with white flames,and in the place of his body, 2 swords and 2 amulets was left there.Each one for each son.
The sons of Sparda thus left the place of hurt and suffering,where they had lost their parents...into silent retreat.what happens next.?
