yepp those n00bs hu dunno the story
i shall spend my next 1 hr typing the initial story out
SPOILERS..
i may reveal sum stuffs in the movie
but those hu really interrested can cont'd to look okayys..
i muz xian shen ming..its accordin to the manga nt movie
there was this person
who drives his 86 every morning up Mt.Akina
to deliver tofu to the restaurant on the mountaintop
and after the tofu delivery
he will drive down the mountain in breakneck speeds
incomplished by even the professional racers who tried to do so
some ppl tink its true..some ppl tink its juz a myth...
well..is it..? read on to find out
den one fine day
one racing team frm the city of Akagi
called the RedSuns came to Akina
the RedSuns aim was to dominate every mountain
in the Gunma Province
and set record times on their mountain passes
challenging the local race team to a match on Mt.Akina
the local team,the Akina SpeedStars
were totally no match for the RedSuns
as their Leader,Iketani found out
but nonetheless
he forced himself to go faster when he trains
and so,he lost control of his car and had an accident
in this way..dere would be no representative for the SpeedStars!!
so sensing his plight
the boss of the gas station iketani worked,Yuuchi Tachibana
told iketani dat he noes the legendary 86 driver and gave
iketani the address of the guy
the next morning..he went down to Mt.Akina to have a look for himself
before long,tire screeching sounds were heard,iketani tensed
soon the 86 charged straight into a hairpin
it drifted very nicely
exiting with incredible speed
Ikentani was very impressed,its the best cornering he ever saw
this guy would definitely win for the SpeedStars
so,the address pointed to
" Fujiwara Tofu Shop"
see-ing a 86 parked at the shop
he went in excitedly
only to see an ordinary looking man in his 40s
he was Bunta Fujiwara..the legendary racer back in his days
iketani begged bunta to represent them for the battle
and bunta only said "maybe..."
iketani was skeptical
but could only hope for the best
as he stepped out of the shop
he saw fellow employee Takumi Fujiwara
who was working part-time at the gas station
and he discovered dat he was bunta's son
which he din noe earlier..so he left
It was 2 days away frm the battle
and the RedSuns representative,
Keisuke Takahashi..the younger of the famous
Takahashi Brothers..who was respected in the racing world
for their powerful speed and skill
he was driving home frm the night's practice
it was already near dawn..abt 4:20am
as he was driving
a set of headlights shone frm his rear view mirror
approaching......
and FAST
being a very competitive person in nature
Keisuke immediately accelerated...
his car is the Mazda RX-7 FD-3S
reputed to be the "best cornering machine"
plus..it was 350 horsepower..it was formiddable
within seconds the two cars were on a "mini race"
after a while..keisuke's FD was in front
a hairpin appeared..
he took dat hairpin with perfect timing and drifted beautifully
clearing it
den he was shocked...
the car he left behind several minutes ago
was right behind him!!
Keisuke couldnt believe it
as the next hairpin appeared
he took it with his usual style..
braking,downshift,drift.....WAIT
the car went right infront of him!!
it was crazy!
he drifted soo near to the outer railing
dat one mistake..could land the driver crashing down the mountain
but it was perfectly done..it was the ultimate
nobody took these hairpins dat fast!! keisuke thought
den he noticed the car model
"Toyota Trueno GT - Apex AE86"or better known as
86(Hachi-Roku)
dat was a 10 yr old car!!
JUNK!!
at most it only had 150 horsepower
totally unmatched by his FD!!
Keisuke was stunned and demoralized
by that time the 86 already disappeared into the darkness
at the night of the battle
Keisuke was getting impatient
he wanted to battle dat 86...
he wanted to redeem himself
how can he lose to an inferior car..?!
his FD shouldnt lose in any way
iketani waited...
bunta wouldnt be showing up..he tot
but as he was abt to give up hope
report of a 86 driving up a hill was heard
BUNTA CAME..!
As the 86 took position beside the FD
the driver door opened
it was Takumi..?!!!
iketani's heart sank........
takumi was a car idiot
always having a dazed look on his face
he did nt noe a thing abt cars
he even said he totally hated driving
as the others were dicussing at the gas station
yet...why him to race Keisuke..a tough opponent?
juz then Takumi's classmate and best friend Itsuki
who was also a racing fan
came up to tell takumi off..hmm
okay i tink lets see the dialogue..its much clearer
Itsuki:"damn you takumi..! u noe wad this lot is for..? its for the akina representative u moron..!"
Takumi*his "i knew i shoudnt come here look:" yeah so..?"
Iketani:" takumi,where's ur dad..?"
Takumi:"oh he's not coming.."
iketani heart sank even deeper..bunta asked takumi to relay this message
Takumi continued:"but he asked me to defeat the RX-7 on the downhill."
Itsuki,Iketani:"WHAT..?!!"
Takumi:"yeahh..and besides..i already beat him once.."*scratches his head
Itsuki,Iketani:"WHAT..?!!"
Iketani eyes shone,seemingly enlightened:" Takumi,besides ur father,who else delivers the tofu in the morning..?"
Takumi:"nobody,now its only me,ever since 5 years ago"
Iketani couldnt believe it..the 86 he saw
was driven by takumi..?!
who didnt noe nuts abt cars
much less drifting..?!
well
since hes here,iketani had no choice
Iketani:"well,we're counting on you takumi"
Takumi:" yeah,dad promised me a full tank of gas if i won"
with dat the race started
the FD started without any fierce competition frm the 86
its start-up left 86 in the dust
soon after the 86 disappeared frm keisuke's
rear view mirror
